Our season consists of several Challenge series races that culminate in the end-of-season Junior North American Championships. Some of the races will be held in conjunction with the adult ADMA races while others will be just for juniors. In addition to these races, we are sponsoring a new type of event this year – Kid’s Mushing Madness. These two events will be less formal opportunities for friends and families to spend time on the trails together without the pressures of racing. At the Mushing Madness events, we anticipate that we will run dogs for an hour and a half and then enjoy a potluck lunch and educational opportunity and/or speaker afterwards. There is no need to formally register for the Mushing Madness events.

Membership and race registration information can be found on this website or by contacting us via email. Pre-registration for events is strongly encouraged so we can plan and be prepared on race day. You may register online, via the mail/email or in person at the pre-race meetings. We typically hold general membership meetings and race draws on the Thursday evenings preceding a race from 6:00PM to 7:00PM. The venues for these meetings will be announced. Racer registration and payment should be submitted no later than the Thursday evening prior to each race by 11:59PM. We have a limited ability to accommodate last minute entries. Our events require many adult volunteers to ensure that the children and dogs are safe. If you are interested in helping we would love to have you be involved!

WEATHER POLICY: Challenge races and regular season events will be postponed if the Airport temperature is -15 degrees Fahrenheit or colder as reported by the National Weather Service at 907-458-3745 option 1113 at 8:00AM the morning of the race. The last two races of the season (i.e. the Fun Run and the Junior North American Championship) do not have a temperature cut-off.
